Wed, January 30, 2008 - 1:38 PMI just watched "God of Cookery" again recently, still one of my favorite comedies of all time, and it still holds up (I had to special order the DVD online -- impossible to find in Chinatown!). Damn, but that film is cruelly hilarious.

Odd. Btw is from Bejing with love worth a purchase? -

Tue, February 5, 2008 - 4:02 AMI watched this on the 30th january, the day it was released in China. However, the cinema showed a version in Mandarin without English subtitles, so some parts I didn't understand. I'm waiting to see it with English subtitles before I make up my mind about the movie. I laughed out loud but not as much as I have watching his other movies. However, I think it's possibly because I couldn't understand it all. So, I'll wait until I've seen one with subtitles and then make up my mind. :o)

Another old favorite is "Flirting Scholar" (typically misspelled on the package as "Flirtong"). It's very, very silly and very entertaining.
